This is the sister cafe to the Michelin starred restaurant Charles Barrier. Overall, I enjoy this cafe much more then the Michelin restaurant as the quality of food and service is a much greater value. The menu is traditional but inventive and for the value / quality balance it is hard to beat in the Tours area. The cafe strikes a good balance between decor / service / menu with professional waitstaff. Wine list is quite good, and this is a local favorite for my wife and I when we have the chance. Parking is available immediately behind the restaurant and it is best to make reservations as the cafe is well known to the locals and frequently very busy.
