This is a very cheap auberge (8.50 euros per person) so long as you have the French auberge card, which costs 15 euros per person and is valid for one year. We didn't have the card, but we whined and the guy let my girlfriend and I stay with just one card - so it turned out to a little over 30 for the night. There's no personality to this place - we didn't even see anybody else. But Orleans is not that interesting of a place anyway, so I guess that explains it. Our room had two singles of different heights, so that was a bit unfortunate. Otherwise a busy overpass outside made earplugs a welcome friend. The bathrooms smell bad - they must have some sceptic problem. Wash basin in room. No curfew. Pretty awful all the same. Better off staying in a different town altogether.
