This is ideally situated a walk away from the Cathedrale, and it's a must see. the hotel is very nice and the beds are great, it has a restaraunt, which does pasta meals and pizzas, but watch the soft drinks there very exspensive... 4.90 euro's for a small bottle of coke..

Only stayed at this hotel for one night as we travelled through France. The hotel is perfectly located, both as it is easy to find from the major routes, and that it provides perfect access to the centre and the wonderful Cathedral.

Check in was very easy as the staff speak perfect English (although one of my party can converse in French) and everything about the hotel/rooms was well explained.

The rooms are relatively small but have everything required. A desk, where computers can be placed allowing visitors to use the free wi-fi, a TV that shows English speaking channels and a large double bed occupy the main room. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom has a free standing shower, sink and wc. It is large enough and the rooms were very clean. Our room faced onto the main street however with the double glazing there was no problem with traffic noise.

We chose to eat in the restaurant for our evening meal. They had a set menu (14.60 euros for a starter/main course or main course/dessert) that was very tasty and plentiful and again the restaurant staff were very pleasant and spoke excellent English.

Parking costs 8 euros per night (something I disagree with when you are resident) but is off street and very secure.

A couple of minor complaints. After arrival and on taking the lift to the third floor it became stuck. We were only kept in it for around 5 minutes however there was no apology when it was sorted. Also we had pre-booked a second room for 70 euros (payable at the hotel) however when we received our bill we were charged the full rate of 79 euros. I did check the bill however didn't wear my glasses so more fool me!!

That being said I would not hesitate to use this hotel again as it is very well sited, the rooms are smallish but very clean with all amenities required and the staff are extremely pleasant.

Returned with a group of friends touring on motorcycles, secure underground parking for 8 Euros per night, a short walk to the Cathederal, so well located, staff were very helpful and friendly, restaurant food was good and tasty, rooms were very comfortable if a little small, there were no complaints from our group, breakfast was the usual Ibis fare but the lady in charge of the buffet kept it fully stocked and well presented.

This hotel is very conveniently located, easy to access yet within a short walk of the medieval old town and cathedral. The immediate surroundings are also attractive, as the hotel is located on the bank of the river Eure. There is secure car parking under the hotel with convenient access to the reception. The staff are friendly and English-speaking (though they seem happy to let you try your French, however imperfect!) The room was one of the best that we have found in an Ibis, clean, comfortable and quiet. Food was very good and with excellent service. We look forward to our next visit!

We would certainly stay in this hotel again. The staff in reception, the bar, dining room and those cleaning rooms were absolutely charming, very efficient and helpful - always smiling and with very good English (and they encouraged me to speak French too!). Rooms were adequate for the length of our stay - not spacious, but compact and had everything we needed. Having a secure underground car park was also reassuring. Excellent breakfast and the Italian cafe provided an enjoyable evening meal.

We have been staying here on our way back home for 9 years or so. We like the central position, secure parking and general comfort. We book in advance and the rates are very reasonable. Sadly the restaurant changed a few years ago to one that only provides microwave food preparation so we always eat near the cathedral and the helpful staff at the ibis are always happy to recommend places and even call to reserve a table. Overall, excellent value, very comfortable and convenient.

Very good hotel for staying and moving on. We stayed one might, but it was very nice and comfortable. The hotel is clean, bed is good, breakfast was more than adequate. Parking is under the building. No charge for the parking which is a plus in France.
