“Looks deceive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

The hotel is on a bend near a busy station. The entrance and reception are small but once you get upstairs you then realise it is a reasonable size with nice decoration and pleasant rooms although control of the air con seemed non existant, just cold or turn it off. Parking is available direct across the road at the station but would have been happier with somewhere more secure or linked to the hotel. Easy short walk to centre. Helpful staff standard breakfast.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

The hotel is quite small, looks to be renovated recently and I would say it was designed with a lot of taste (aka boutique hotel).

We had a room on second floor, looked like an attic, but it was quite large and very nicely decorated. Breakfast was good too.
Weak WIFI signal in the room, probably due to the room location.

Room Tip: Hotel is right across the train station, and there is a bus stop in front of it. Ask for a room on t...

I expect small rooms and got one, but the bath was great and I was thrilled to have a coffee maker in the room. It was quiet here, as I had concerns with being next to the train station. Our only difficulty was with the compressor in the air system. It made huge groaning noises thru out the night. Additionally, when our room was cleaned, the window in the bathroom was left unlocked to the attached roof.
The bed was comfy and the pillows soft. Plenty of towels in the bath. Around the corner is a great little place for breakfast.
It is a very nice, uphill walk from Cental Ville, Very safe.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room in the back. Breakfast can be had around the corner for a reasonable price. Par...

This hotel is conveniently located across from the railway station, but a good walk from the centre of town. If you're happy to walk then you'll enjoy this place. The rooms are very small, but the beds are of so comfy, probably the best I've slept in on this 5 week European trip. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Wifi is easy to access and good reception. The breakfast was a very high standard of pastries, cereals, juices, fruits, yogurts, boiled eggs, ham & meats.

We have been staying in a range of Best Westerns in France as part of a cycling trip and were a bit disappointed in this one. There's nothing wrong with it - modernised nicely and decent sized bathroom, but the room was tiny, so it suits a one night stay. Convenient to the station but a 10 minute walk down the hill to the pedestrian centre. Breakfast in pleasant dining room was fairly standard.

Stayed here while driving the Loire Valley. Location is pretty good. Right across the railway station. We parked on the street which was free until 9am. Parking also available at railway station. Rooms are spacious. WiFi worked on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was too expensive, so we grabbed some bread from the excellent bakery around the corner and brewed some tea and coffee in the room. Clean, soundproof, neat.
