After a trans-Atlantic flight and a train trip from Paris, we felt fortunate to find ourselves at La Grange Chambres! We arrived to find a quiet and comfortable room next to a lovely courtyard. The B&B is centrally located in town, so it was easy to walk to restaurants, the tourist office, the river, and some attractions, including the Chateau du Clos Luce. Because the house is set behind a stone wall, there weren't any street noises to disturb us at night. And breakfasts were quite enjoyable -- a nice choice of breads, cereals, fruit and yogurt, and plenty of coffee! We never felt rushed to finish, so that gave us a nice opportunity to visit with other guests.
The only drawback is probably the distance from the train station. It's at least a 20-minute walk. We were there in July, when the temperatures were above 90 degrees each day. At any other time of the year, we wouldn't have minded the walk quite as much.
