Our room was quite comfortable and clean. We walked up a beautiful stone stairwell to a short hall to access our room. Breakfast was adequate, but the location was prime. We could walk all over the city, parking was good, we found a laundermat to wash our clothes with a wonderful little bar next door where we enjoyed a glass of wine while the clothes got washed. Really enjoyed our time in Beaune.

The standard of the room was quite ok, no lux, but compared with the price, really a bargain. The staff is important in a hotel for my well-being, and here we got a service as if staying in a six star hotel. Our little dog, a Cocker Spaniel was treated like a princess. Central, easy to park, short distance to all the important places tranquil, nice atmosphere. We'll be back, definitely.

Great spot, very convenient. Short walk to parking, right next to the city center. Rooms clean and comfortable, although oddly shaped and a bit dated in the furnishings. Bar not open too late. Breakfast fairly minimal. You can drop off baggage at the front door and then go park, but don't try to do that on a Saturday as the hotel is in the street market zone and the road is closed off to traffic. Very nice market, by the way.

A basic 3 star with small rooms this hotel is blessed with a wonderful location. Beds were comfortable and linens felt good. Towels were OK. Basic toiletries; pretty run of the mill stuff for a three star. My room had a weird long horizontal window which I suppose purported to allow natural light flood into the bathroom but which would I imagine prove to be uncomfortable for anyone sharing a room who likes their privacy. Weird.
I'd stay here again as long as I got a deal.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask about the privacy issue in relation to the bathroom window into the main bedroom.

The hotel is in a great location in the middle of town, but Beaune is so small that any hotel located within or on the central perimeter of town can be considered a great location. We stayed here 1 night to save money before moving to a very nice hotel we'd booked for 4 nights and it was a mistake. The rooms are dingy looking and not very clean, we had cold showers in the morning which we heard everyone else complaining about when they checked out as well. Noisy. Was glad our stay was brief!

The location of this hotel is excellent being next to the cathedral with its nightly light show. However the size and quality of the room can only be described as 1960's caravan like. The room itself was so small that there was no possibility of sitting anywhere else but on the bed which was the smallest 'double' I have ever slept on. Once the shower had been used, the bathroom became flooded and the steam penetration turned the bedroom into a sauna. In hindsight we should have complained immediately but did not want to spoil our holiday with friends as we were a party of six. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were very friendl. However the owners have crammed as many bedrooms as they can into this lovely old building which is a negative and they would have been better reducing the numbers and making the rooms more comfortable and a decent size.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a room at the front as on market day , Saturday, the street outside the hotel is filled...

Pleasant hotel for those looking for no more than a room and breakfast. Clean and reasonable value for money. Very good location. We had a room up stairs off the breakfast room, and in our room was a further staircase to our bathroom above. Very quaint for us, but not for anyone who struggles on stairs.
