Our room was not a suite, but was plenty large - not your normal European room. The hotel was quaint, nicely decorated, and the staff was fantastic. We stayed in hotels in Paris which were lauded for being glamorous on reviews, but this was our favorite room. We took the train down from Paris, and the hotel is a bit of a walk with bags from the station, but not so far that we were willing to take a cab and miss the beauty of the town. Beaune is not large by any measurement, so it did not seem like there were any bad places to stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
