We had a superb Sunday mid-day meal here and it is easy to see why the restaurant is so favorably reviewed. We both had the Saveur (Flavors) Menu at 54 E with 2 choices at the appetizer and entree (they also served an amuse bouche and tasty bread). The entree choices were Pigeon (boneless) and Salmon. Every course was elegantly prepared and served. The entree was followed by a small cheese plate with a chef's creation of a delicious "cheese mousse" which looked like a small soft round cheese (hard to explain, easy to eat) and then a dessert sampler and elegant fruit/ice cream tower. A very creative and well-paced meal and dessert served by a competent and attentive wait staff. There was an extensive wine list but only 1 pinot noir and 1 chardonnay available by the glass. They were both of good quality and a glass of white followed by a red worked well with the meal. Note that this is a very small restaurant and likely fills quickly. I would think that reservations are a must.
