We stayed at this hotel while visiitng our daughter who is studying at the University. The room and public areas were very clean, functional and well maintained. Rooms are large by European standards, beds a bit firm but typical for Europe. Nothing special about the room but is was very clean, and cleaned well every day by the maid. Breakfast is a bit expensive but very good. I suggest the cafe on the corner next to the hotel if you just want expresso and a croisant - much cheaper and they were very friendly. The staff spoke adequete English but prefered to communicate in French. They were very helpful with directions, restuarant recommendations etc... Location is great, near Republique metro stop (2 short blocks away) and walking distance to fantastic shopping and restuarants. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
