A very nice hotel, fantastic location.
Just been renovated , 1 1/2 months ago, has still a little minor details to be taken care of.
Lovely breakfast, but most of all smiling and helpufull faces all around.
I really felt at home there.
Prices are a little high for a Mercure, but I guess when the hotel has finished its renovation it would be worthy.

I recomend it absolutely

My husband and I have stayed for at the Emeraude for two weeks both in Feb. 07 and Feb. 08.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The hotel has obviously been updated since some of the reviews I've read. The changes are stunning and refreshingly simple!

On our first visit we stayed in #22 or 23. Beautiful rooms!!
On our second visit we requested suite #15! Wonderful!! It feels very private and yet you look out directly on to the beach. It also has its own hot tub!! . . . heaven!!

My husband and I are not into "being with the beautiful people just to be seen" so the low key atmoshere and quiet elegance this special resort afforded us suited us to a tee!

Although we had a real sense of privacy at the Emeraude, dining, shopping and many beach activities were right at hand. We never felt isolated as I did at the Isle de France resort.

Everyone at the Emeraude was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed, Romea, who made up our room almost daily! She was so funny and endured my husband's teasing
and returned it very humorously and graciously!

We've already made reservations for Feb. '09. God willing, we'll see Romea and everyone at the Emeraude Plage next year!

PS If you have a massage in your room have the front desk call Yolanda for you. She is absolutely the BEST!! ....and that's also coming from my very critical husband!!
