“Reasonably priced lunch.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

We chose to have lunch at this restaurant due to the location and a pre 1.00 pm lunch offer of starter, plus main, plus glass of wine for 12.70 euros.
The starter was quiche with salad, and the main was a pork cut with aubergines and courgettes.
The house red wine was surprisingly good.
Overall very reasonable at this price, but was not tempted to try the a-la-carte for dinner, with prices in the 17-25 euro range.

“Good Ambience, terrible service!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012 via mobile

We had dinner on a early Saturday night, and the place was half full. My wife and I had the Foigras, which was regular. My son had the entrecôte an he said it was good. The problem was that between we finishing our appetizer and the our main dish, almost 45 minutes passed!!! Worst service I ever had, even for a French Restaurant!!!

“Utterly overpriced”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2011 via mobile

Staff disorganized, unfriendly, slow.
Location ok.
Meals lack salt and spices, tasteless. Main dish and side dish served with 10 minute delay.
Drinks? We weren't even asked what we would like.

Avoid at all cost.

“Average busy brasserie”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2011

It was getting late by the time we got to Bordeaux, after short walk found this place in a quiet square. Lots of outside seating but most tables smoked and it was getting a little chilly so we sat indoors.

Nice to get a tapenade with copious french bread in a basket, meal portions were generous although my American friend was horrified to find bones in her large salmon steak as apparently American salmon doesn't have bones.

Portions were large, service was OK and price was acceptable.
