“Lovely hotel, charming staff and gorgeous rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

If you go to Bordeaux, you'd do well to choose this hotel. It's very well located near the Place Gambetta, so all the main sights are within easy walking distance. Many of the rooms face onto a quiet garden courtyard. The hotel has been open for a year and they are just adding another seven rooms. All are beautifully designed in contemporary style with everything you need including good beds, storage space, wifi, good lighting. The staff are charming and helpful, and the breakfasts are excellent with lots of choice between meat and cheese, fruit, cereals, pastries. We thought it was very good value for such a well appointed, good looking and charming place. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the garden courtyard

My wife and I spent a night at Le Boutique Hotel, which is conveniently located in a beautiful section of Bordeaux. The rooms were very comfortable, equipped with all the modern comforts, and the decor of the hotel is chic. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, were able to give us assistance in English, and were also knowledgeable about Bordeaux. Would definitely recommend it.

Great location, great hotel for couples. The wine bar was a bit understaffed as it was hard to get efficient service. The reception/employees were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was large and spacious, with clean and crisp decorations. One negative was that our room was right by the breakfast area, so it was extremely loud in the mornings/night. Would definitely stay again!

Parking at Grand Hommes is extremely close!

This is a superbly located hotel and lovely facilities for a couple wanting a romantic break in a beautiful city. Really nice touches at the hotel and staff, whilst a little inexperienced at times, were always helpful and very friendly.

Trust the French to create a chic and ultra modern living space in an 18th century heritage building. It's not the usual eastern Zen theme, nor is it bohemian - instead it's an experience of living in a futuristic zone, open bathroom and closet et al.
The elevator is in glass and without any steel structure around it - unnerving at first.
The open air lounge is fabulous as is the quaint dining area. Service is unobtrusive but excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are warm and courteous. Everything in the city center is just a few minutes away.
I loved it but its not for everyone. Bordeaux is full of traditional hotels as well located as this one. So it's up to you.

It was a wonderful hotel. wonderful staff, clean room. The room we were staying was large and the bathroom was fantastic. We absolutely loved the place. I will definitely go back there again and will encourage every one stay at this hotel.

A perfect central location in the heart of Bordeaux. The hotel is trendy with friendly, smiley, helpful staff always willing to help with bags, a taxi, directions and recommendations. Our room was incredibly small but well appointed with a big comfy bed and with all the necessary elements – including lucious Hermes toiletries. We were traveling with our little dog (probably why we got the tiny room) and so there was a small extra charge (€10?) but they provided food and water dishes for her which was cute. The breakfast buffet was pricey if you only have a small bite to eat, but it was plentiful with freshly squeezed OJ, Kusmi tea, gourmet coffee and the usual French breakfast spread.
