An unsual restaurant in the old lounge of a tradition stone town house, out of the main part of the old centre of Bordeaux, but still only a couple of minutes from Place Gambetta. Really excellent food, well presented. We had the 24€ three courser, and it was splendid. Le Patron (and chef) does not speak English but Madame has perfect understanding. However, it is good to give the French accent a bit of a working out, without feeling in any way embarrassed. Good, sensibly priced wine list, too. Definitely a place where local people eat and not in any way some sort of touristy establishment. Highly recommended.
