This old harbour warehouse makes a brilliant location for this comtemporary art museum. It has its own metro/ tram stop, but is walking distance from the heart of Bordeaux
The various exhibits were well presented and there was plenty of interest . We visited during the Sylvia Sleigh exhibition and this was an introduction for us to this Welsh born , American Realist pushing out the boat to reverse sexual stereotypes in art. We enjoyed it and the rest of the museum too. The exhibit concerning the role of the modern Stadium was most thought provoking.
Of course there were rows of rubble , heaps of coal and buckets of hard core. Artists , curators, time to move on, ennui, ennui, ennui.
So we did , up to the top floor for a great Sunday brunch, with outside space and great friendly service .
