This is a tiny restaurant with a tiny kitchen but it's a gem. We ate there on the night we arrived in Bayonne and immediately booked to return a couple of days later. Run by a young couple her service was first rate and the food he produced, basically just on one hotplate, was tasty and well judged. The risotto ocean was creamy with plenty of seafood and the chocolate fondant was also well up to the mark. Portions are pretty large and we were advised to share a croustillant starter with ham and sheep's milk cheese. We also shared the fondant and with a couple of kirs, a bottle of wine from a short but reasonably priced list and two coffees, we paid 74 euros which we thought was excellent value. It's very informal and the tables are quite close together but good luck to them - they deserve to succeed. Best to reserve as they turned away a lot of people who hadn't.
