I called in here for lunch as the set menu outside was very reasonable. Colmar is a very quiet town and the streets are fairly dead so I was amazed to enter a place that was really buzzing. The layout of the restaurant is unusual as there are very few tables but, apart from the bar, there are a series of counters with stools. This seems to be the place where young business people come for lunch. Not surprising when the food is not only very good but extremely reasonable. I paid 15 euros for a three course lunch with wine, The lively and light hearted ambience is mirrored in the decor which has dozens of plastic ducks dotted all over the place. The staff are kept very busy because the place is full of people with a limited time to spend on lunch but they are nevertheless very friendly and good natured.
