My wife and I stayed here for one night after the Andre Reiu concert at the MEN. We arrived at about 2,30 pm and found parking to be easy but from the upper level it requires negotiating a set of stairs with suitcases down to reception, Staff were friendly and welcoming, check in was busy but there were three people 'on the desk' and delays were minimal. Our room was on the fourth floor and as found to be quite large with king size bed with pull out bed below and an additional settee which would have converted to another double if required. This room would have made a very adequate family room. Cleanliness was very good but as in other reviews the decor could do with a lick of paint here and there but this didn't deter from our enjoyment. No noise from the street below nor from the corridor (the bed head was against the corridor wall). One thing to bear in mind when the hotel is busy - get down for breakfast before the rush. We managed about 9am and were seated by the breakfast waitress. By the time we had finished about 20 minutes later the queue was considerable. Some people were quite vociferous and rude on being asked to wait in the seated area of the adjacent bar. If you can't get up on time what do you expect. This is one hotel we would not hesitate to book again -about 5 mins walk from MEN and a good night's sleep.

Great city centre location with free parking. You get what you expect every time with a premier inn -comfortable rooms, breakfast available if you need it. Great find. Didn't use the restaurant as so many places nearby to use such as hard rock, etc. 2 minute walk to MEN arena, 1 mile to HMV ritz. 2 minutes to Arndale shopping centre.

My wife & i booked this hotel because we were going to see Mumford & Sons in concert at the MCR Arena , i also booked a meal deal which included a 3 course meal & drink and all you can eat breakfast which was about £22 each . Check in time is 2pm but i checked with the hotel before hand & they said if we came earlier & a room was ready then we could go in before 2 , so on the day we arrived at about 12.30 sat nav got us there ok , its a hugh tall building so you can't miss it but it is on a busy road so it was quite hard looking for the car park & steering at the same time basically i followed the roads around the building until i came to the car park entrance ,straight in ,parked ,then off to reception ,hey gave me a piece of paper to put on my dash board & then it was off to our room on the 7th floor there are 3 lifts so no waiting really. the room was massive so much space ,clean & tidy ,6ft bed ! perfect. The hotel is 4 min easy walk to the MCR Arena couldn't have been easier & all the shops are right on the hotels doorstop. We had our evening meal which was pub grub set in a really smart clean modern restaurant ,the food wasn't restaurant std but for the price i can't complain & was very pleasant also the breakfast was everything you could ask for.So to sum up if its a visit to the MCR Arena or just shopping in Man city centre then this is the hotel for you we really enjoyed our stay & would certainly go back again PS overnight we hardly heard any traffic noise & the black out curtains certainly did there job for a very comfy nights sleep.

We stayed for two nights on the 6th and 7th December. Hotel excellent location for the Arndale Centre, Selfridges etc 2 min walk, extremely convenient for shopping then dropping bags back to shop some more. Also close for the Xmas markets. Rooms clean and comfortable,Bathroom spotless, staff very friendly, also free parking. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
