“Excellent quality Hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Stayed here when we came to Manchester for my Sister's Birthday celebrations.
We had a family room on the ground floor for the four of us (2 Adults and 2 kids). Really friendly staff, the room was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was all you can eat and really tasty.I would recommend this particular premier inn to anybody.

I have stayed in this hotel at least 10 times and I always have a good nights stay. My last stay the lift was broken but they rang in advance to check if I needed a ground floor. The staff are always friendly and really nice. The restaurant is a massive disappointment. I always eat around 5/5:30 and they never have enough staff, the food is slow and not fully cooked or warm. The breakfast I had was awful with undercooked sausages and egg, I would have complained but no staff available. I have commented each time using the beefeater review system but it obviously doesn't get checked as I wrote a note offering anyone who was reading it to call me and I would give them £10!

Lovely hotel, but your best off eating after 6 and skipping breakfast. Also not a lot of parking around 3 as the local school takes over the car park with parents collecting there children.

Room Tip: Best to get top floor facing the car park, then you don't get foot steps and no road noise.

The advert on TV is accurate! The Premier Inn met my expectations but the staff exceeded my expectations. I have never had to walk outside of a hotel into another building for my breakfast, but the staff were warm and friendly, chatted with the children and took their orders with patience so they felt welcomed and significant too. I particularly was impressed by them for remembering how we liked our breakfast!

Stayed for one night with my daughter after a trip to the Trafford Centre. About 12 mins drive away, it was our second choice after Trafford West was over £100 for the night & this premier inn was £60.
Pleasantly surprised, from the outside the location does not look great, but inside, the rooms are bright and clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly! Margaret on reception was very welcoming after our long day and made us feel very welcome! Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice & pleasant staff. Also ample parking to the rear of the premier inn. The only negative comment I have is that the secondary lock on the bedroom door did not work, which as a lone female with a child was abit annoying but after a quick chat with reception, was assured that the night porters do hourly Walk rounds of the hotel which was comforting. Would Definately stay here again!

Having stayed at the nearby Middleton Hotel, this is far superior in room decoration and comfort overall and even though this was slightly dearer, I would have no qualms about recommending this Hotel. The Breakfast is buffet style, lots to choose from. There was nothing too much trouble for either the hotel or restaurant staff. The Hotel looks as though it has had a recent makeover, but the only downside was there was nowhere in the bathroom to charge an electric razor. The Hotel topped off a wonderful day having been to Old Trafford with my wife and 3 Grandchildren for the Quarter Final of the Mens Olympic Football match.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back appear to be the best, away from the road noise at the front. These are the ones w...

Came up for the Olympics at Old Trafford
The staff were very cheerful and interested in us. The room was very modern and comfortable but most importantly for me the room and bathroom were absolutely spotless.
Very impressed

The welcome from Margaret was not only outstanding but also very informative. Perhaps not the nicest Premier Inn we stayed in but none the less provided all we needed. The adjacent Beefeater Grill serves the £22 meal deal that includes 3 course dinner, a drink (wine etc), and a full breakfast!

Room Tip: The rooms over looking the car park are away from the road.

It's the mixture of old and new that's so delightful at Heaton Park. You're in the historic area of Bury, right next to a park and estate that dates back hundreds of years. Yet you're a short tram ride from an ultra-modern city, plus there's all mod cons in our hotel too. Feed the animals in Heaton Park. Or feed your appetite for shopping at Bury's famous shopping centre and market. Party like mad at Manchester Pride festival, or celebrate a win at Old Trafford. Then come back to comfy beds, 40 inch flat screen TVs and a Beefeater restaurant. ... more   less
