“Good value at £29”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2012

We spent a night here. Comfortable newly refurbished room and large comfortable bed. Some road noise -but since we'd been to a family party we still slept quite well!
There is a cafe just down the road (towards central Manchester) where you can get a fair breakfast.

We stayed here to be near some friends, and it was fantastic. It was not far from the tram (5 min walk) that took you straight into the city centre, plus the gorgeous Heaton Park was across the road. A must-see.
A Beefeater restaurant is next door, and they are reasonably priced too. Lovely food.
There is also a Salisbury's about 5 mins down the road which sells everything from food and drink, to clothing and anything else you need.
The rooms were spotless, bed comfy and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Heaton Park Premier Inn whilst visiting family in the area. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room spotless (it had just been refurbished) and the bed was very comfortable. The only real negative is the road noise. It wasn't enough to stop us from sleeping though you can always hear it even with the window closed, but then it's a busy road. It's probably quieter if you have a room at the back rather than facing the road.
However, for £29 a night, I think you'd struggle to find better accommodation!

Great value for money. Paid £58 for a family room for two nights! Staff very friendly and helpful and rooms very clean. If you are staying over for a few nights this hotel is recommended.

Room Tip: Stay on the top floor if available and at the rear

not a bad premier inn but been in much nicer ones.
Heaton park its self is just across a very busy road , but lovely for a stroll.
Staff were good, beefeater food was okish, breakfast great as usual :)
tram stop a five/ten min walk and takes you direct to the town center , very handy.

Stayed for two nights over a weekend. Room spotless - had a room at the back so no noise from traffic. Breakfast very good.

On arrival we ate in the Beefeater attached to the hotel where the staff where very friendly and helpful and the food value for money. Our room in the hotel was on the front of the building and the traffic from the road could be heard despite the window being closed. The room however was spotlessly clean and modern, bed comfy. Tram station about a 10 min walk away for the very short journey into Manchester city. A good stay overall.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the carpark!

It's the mixture of old and new that's so delightful at Heaton Park. You're in the historic area of Bury, right next to a park and estate that dates back hundreds of years. Yet you're a short tram ride from an ultra-modern city, plus there's all mod cons in our hotel too. Feed the animals in Heaton Park. Or feed your appetite for shopping at Bury's famous shopping centre and market. Party like mad at Manchester Pride festival, or celebrate a win at Old Trafford. Then come back to comfy beds, 40 inch flat screen TVs and a Beefeater restaurant. ... more   less
