The two starter platters were excellent, the dessert of bread and pudding was good but normally it wouldn't have been my first choice... due to lack traditional puddings i opted for this instead. Maybe the cheese board next tine.
I left my comments about my main till last. I had the 10 oz rump steak with chips. The chips looked and tasted fresh and golden in colour...... tasted like walkers ready salted crisps. Im not a fan big fat chips, though i saw another main dish which had some big fat chips like mine but cooked differently which was more tanned... prob cooked in flavoured fat.
As for my steak, i asked for rare and it came out just above medium rare. Hugely disappointed.
