Based on the high prices charged we expected far better food and service than we received.
Starters, overall acceptable, but found small sharp bones in the rabbit terrine.
Main course, lobster spaghetti was tasty, but at £22.50, perhaps a little more than 6-7 small pieces of lobster are to be expected, it was after all 95% a bowl of spaghetti. The other main was the burger, which was in fact steak on a bun, the steak was good, but undercooked frozen fries for £16.50 are not what you expect. Dessert was good, macaroons, and reasonably priced.
What you don't expect when you pay £90 for 2 people for a 3 course meal (with 1 glass of wine for one person in that price) are banging dance music, paper napkins and cramped tables. It was more like a shop cafe than the high end restaurant it is trying to be. Service was OK but not outstanding.
