“No hassle stopover”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago NEW

All in all a very convenient and comfortable over night stop. Clean and comfortable, not many frills but then again you aren't expecting any. Not sure about pricing as it seems any city centre hotel is expensive these days and I'm probably not a good judge and we did book very late.

Perfect location for an Academy Gig. Newly refurbished so the rooms and bathroom were spotless.
Comfortable bed and quiet nights sleep.
Rooms are basic, but provide all that is needed for a stopover.
Car park secure, which is nice when you are staying in a city centre.
Can't check in before 3 unless you pay a £10 supplement, but we were able to leave our car in the car park, change in the toilet, and then go out for some lunch before checking in later. Friendly reception staff.
Would use this hotel again.

Lovely big modern hotel with very secure and free car park.
Lifts to all floors, welcoming staff, very convenient location if your planning a visit to the museum, or a gig at the academy. 30 mins free wifi helpful to find local things to, although there are plenty of leaflets in reception.

Good location (gig at Academy2), very polite staff and clean room. The bed was amaaazing - big and comfy. The only downsides were the walls seemed to be made of paper (Gesundheit to the lady in the next room) and after paying extra for a late check out we had cleaners outside our door at 10.30am having a nice chat and then the rest of the morning we could hear the cleaners going about their business so a waste of a tenner really! Would stay again though.

Stayed for one night due to having somthing done at the hospital. I booked with a third party and phoned before arrival to ask for eartly check in. Arrived and it seemed to be diffrent for the early check as promised on the phone however after paying the ten pounds fee I got in the room nice big bed. You cannot hear much yes its near the A&E dept but you here the sirens in most citys. I had one of the best nights sleep, Check when you arrive in your room that the heater is not on full as when i walked it it was like a sauna. Shower is good the shower gel smells awful but thats my preferance. Breakfast was good limited choice but was good overall. I will stay there again as it was a good travelodge

Stayed here twice now because it's close to my office. Very clean, pretty quiet considering the location, super comfy bed. If you want five star quality, stay somewhere else, but this place is on the button for value and a level above all other Travelodges I've stayed in.

One very important point. The welcome from the girls on reception is always very friendly, they are all extremely helpful, way beyond expectations, and Shabs is a star :)
