“Amazing Thai”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013 via mobile

Myself and my husband like to treat ourselves to Thai when we are away to remind us of our honeymoon. We try Thai restaurants in most cities we go to, and We are so glad we found this little gem on trip advisor. We would have never found it otherwise. Its upstairs and off the street in the heart of China town. The decor was simple, but the food was delicious. The flavours are very authentic, there is a good selection of dishes in the menu and the portion sizes are great!! Note that the restaurant is unlicensed so you can bring your own alcohol which kept the cost down too! Also they do not charge any corkage fee. It is one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to in England, for flavour and we would recommend it to anyone wanting good authentic tasty food.

“Distinctly average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

I visited the restaurant for lunch and was somewhat surprised to find I was the only diner, which did little to enhance the ambiance and atmosphere. (Two other people arrived whilst I was eating my main course!) Despite the lack of customers, service was slow. The two vegetable rolls which I chose for my starter were tiny and were served with a "plum sauce" which was a very sweet, gloopy and almost colourless concoction, devoid of flavour. Happily, the red curry main course was better and more substantial, but lacked the usual careful balance of sweet, sour, hot and salty flavours.
There are much better Thai restaurants in Manchester than this one and I am unlikely to return.

“Unpretentious decor but excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

Take your own wine and enjoy probably the best Thai food I have ever eaten (even in Thailand).
The portions were big and we left very satisfied at a very reasonable cost

“Delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

The food was excellent here and very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and it was an attractive looking restaurant inside (you can't see it from outside as it is in the upstairs of a building). The only downside was the we hadn't realised it was not licensed (although you can bring your own alcohol) so we only had soft drinks. I would definitely eat here again.

“Authentic Thai and Great Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

Been twice recently and had excellent meals both times. Tom Yum soup is great and main courses are fresh, aromatic and nice and spicy. Portion sizes are big and service good. Bring your own a bonus.
