“Suprisingly good steak!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2012

Good for United fans as it's located on Old Traffords doorstep, but it was quite a way away from the train station. Nice place, friendly enough people and a really good restaurant downstairs, which as my title says, had very nice steak. I'd go back there just for the steak. Would definitely stay here if I was off t'football. But otherwise possibly a bit far from main town, unless you like taxi's, which I don't. Oh and they have good steak, if I didn't mention it enough..

Room Tip: Have some steak, please.

I stayed here for one night after watching Soccer Aid 2012 at Old Trafford.I stayed with my husband ,13 year old daughter and 10 year old son.I had read a few negative reviews regarding noise etc. but I cannot see how anyone can fault this Hotel on cleanliness, staff and especially location. What does it matter if a few floorboards make noise if other areas are good. Breakfast was also good and all in all you can't go wrong !

Coming from the states I didn't know what to expect based on the mixed reviews. I arrived four hours early, and the staff was more than accomodating to allow me to check in early. I found the room to be plenty big enough, and it was very clean. I came for the football match, and the hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the football grounds. I could see Old Trafford from my room. The staff was very professional and friendly, and I would recommend this hotel if you're coming for a match. The creak in the floor is what it is, but you're not exactly staying in a 17-floor hotel either. I didn't visit Manchester to spend all day in the room, so I really didn't have any complaints about the amentities. I stayed for six nights and never had a problem with noise from the bar as well. Would stay there again for sure.

Booked here without knowing a thing about it. Read reviews afterwards and got a bit worried, as some of them were not very good. Hotel and room (16) were immaculate. Service was spot on and friendly. Located around the corner from Old Trafford although we were not going there for football this is a great location for the Quays and trams/buses etc. High security, free parking and top quality cleanliness, ten times better than a Travelodge.

Stayed with my son on the Easter Saturday for the game on the Sunday. Great location for the ground as literally 2 minutes walk.
Staff were extremely helpful and were even able to let me stay parked there on the Sunday after checkout for a small fee. We were very happy with the room on the top floor and everything was clean if a little worn!
The price was extremely high due to the football and I am not sure it was value for money compared to other hotels in the area but would not put me off staying there again.

we were really exited to get a deal on booking .com,with a double room for two nights discounted from £230 to £60. upon arrival we realised we have been victims off creative photography and misleading marketing (web site claimed one room left book now,but was virtually empty) frosty welcome and found our room to be smelly decor very tired. We found it hard to sleep due to road noise,a plastic matress cover, uncomfortable matress and dirty duvet cover it was so bad we payed for two nights but stayed one night had a basic breakfast and left never to return.PS cleaning the hundreds of cigarette buts from the seating area at the front would be a help to be fair to this hotel if you only payed £60 for two nights you have a good deal but to say it was discounted is a disgrace

Room Tip: good for football matches
