Small place, delightful service, and beautiful fresh fish with gorgeous garnish - both cooked and raw made - this a gorgeous start to an evening at the Theatre. I have tolerated Japanese food (that is I was dragged there) in the past but now realise that the restaurants previously visited were poor. Between the 4 of us we had 4 starters that we shared - prawn balls, soy beans, griddled chicken, and battered tofu. All were perfectly cooked.
The mains were all as good - and all for less than £20. We are not the only one that liked it. The place was full at 5.30 pm.
I always have to say something negative. The rice was the only thing not 100% perfect. I can live with that.
We do not live anywhere near Manchester but will return when we can.
