If you cook tapas at home, then don't expect anything great.

Average food, ambiance was ok, wine nice.

Staff excellent friendly

“Over priced, poor organization for a large table. Wouldn't go again.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

We were a large table for the small restaurant.
We ordered drinks and The cocktails were nice, I would perhaps just go for cocktails if we were in the area.
As far as the meal was concerned: We had ordered in advance. They bought the tapas out on big plates, the waitress informing us (not very confidently) this is two portions, or three. This multiple portions idea was terrible. No one knew how much of what we had actually received. It seemed like Very small portions for the price. Two people paying £20 for three prawns and to pieces of calamri each. Plus drinks, this seemed very expensive. The good was fine, but nothing extraordinary or special. We were all still hungry afterward and our bill came to over £250 with a compulsory 10% service charge, which for the service we received, seemed s bit steep!

Needless to say we won't be going again!

We would recommend Namaste Nepal down the rd for something different and authentic, as we all agreed afterward that we wished we'd stuck to the fail safe option for a big group, and gone there instead!

“Lovely food, great atmosphere and fantastic staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

In the heart of Didsbury, we dined at Pinchjo's on a Friday evening. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was typically lively and what you would expect from a tapas restaurant. We were really well looked after by our server. She was very friendly and took an interest in our visit from Sussex. The food was fantastic. We shared 7 dishes between two of us and it was the perfect amount. There was no room for dessert although my Wife worked her way through the cocktail menu before we left. Thank you for a lovely evening and we will definitely book when we are next in the area

“Fresh food but with a high price tag”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

This area is always busy and we managed ti get a table at this quant restaurant. It was packed but had a nice warm atmosphere. The service was good and the waitresses were friendly but they could have done with one more staff member. Once we ordered the food came pretty quickly but after the first drink no one came to ask if we would like more drinks. The food was fresh and presented really well but some of the dishes such as the patatas bravas lacked flavour and seasoning. Drinks were pricey too, £2.10 for just a lime and soda is a little steep. Overall it was okay but we probably won't return as there are plenty more restaurants in Manchester to try.
