5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Stayed here with my husband and some friends and family before our flight to mexico. It was a lovely experience fast check in and lovely rooms with comfy beds. I would definitely stay here again if i was waiting for an early flight. It was quite reasonably priced too. We all had a meal in the bar which was really nice too.

Stayed night before and night after flight, booked parking and last night through Holidayextras and Booking.com for night before. Hassle free and staff very helpful, rooms clean and tidy although let down by the last night being two singles shoved together and two quilts! Arrived after midnight so to tired to complain. First night was ground floor last was 5th and both were quiet considering it being beside an airport. I have been advised to avoid rooms at the front above the entrance due to the noise of arriving and departing guests on the shuttle bus. Didn't try the breakfast but it looked good value at £8 for full Irish. Parking was well handled, just leave the car.. they take it off site and return it before you come back. They do warn that if you are too low on fuel or have bald tyres they will charge you a penalty,. and not to leave sat nav or valuables in the car..

Shuttle bus to terminal is quick and efficient and the drivers are helpful. The freephone in the terminal isn't immediately obvious so check it out before you go or ask..

There may be cheaper alternatives further away, but in bad weather it is comforting to be close by. Tried the Radison last year and I am 50:50 as to which is the better option compared to Bewleys, I did like the fact that the Radison was on the Terminal, and we could just walk to air check in..but the parking transfer wasn't quite as easy as Bewleys. Radison was better quality so I am undecided!

Room Tip: ask to be away from above front reception.

Over the last six weeks, I have stayed three nights at this airport hotel. Each time the service has been efficient and friendly. The facilities are comfortable. The rooms are warm and clean. The 'response mode' mini bus from the railway station or terminals is a real bonus. The breakfast was OK - plentiful, standard fare.

The room is comfortable and clean, with tea/coffee and a spacious bathroom. B&B rate of £69, so good value for money. No complaints about the room at all.
I am travelling for work and so I didn't fancy eating alone in the restaurant. I ordered room service from the bar because the prices were basically the same. Not a great selection, and certainly not very healthy, but pretty standard hotel bar fare.
I ordered the fish sandwich. The bun was so dry it was like two pieces of cardboard. Paired with a very thin fish filet that was flavourless, as was the tartar sauce. It was served with chips that were similarly dry and bland, even when drenched in vinegar. As I was hungry and eager to get some work done I didn't send it back, so I can't say if they would have fixed it. The staff have been helpful so far, so it is entirely possible it would have been replaced. For £15 though you would think they could get a fish sandwich and some chips right the first time...

*Thorough review*

We stayed at this hotel on Thursday 7 March 2013 in a family room before an early morning flight from Terminal 1. Room 282 and 283 and we also had breakfast and 15 days parking.

ROOMS:
2 large double beds which were amazingly comfy, two large armchairs which were also nice and we had a good view of the skylink at the airport. Our room was by a main road but no problem! The second we shut the window you couldn't hear anything it was brilliant, so that was a bonus. We had a nice sized bathroom which was spotless clean although there was no soap or anything provided which was unusual as it stated on booking that the room included 'toiletries.' Also, there's extra towels in one of the cupboards or wardrobe space because at first we thought we had like one towel. The TV is huge with free view channels, and there's also tea and coffee making facilities as standard. There was free Wi-Fi but couldn't pick it up in the room which was disappointing.

BREAKFAST:
Breakfast was £9.50 each for an Irish buffet breakfast self serve, personally I think it's very overpriced for what you get. You get a small area with sausages, bacon etc. and then a bit of fruit and some juices. Bread is available for you to toast yourself. However, one person with us required gluten free food and we e-mailed them before our stay and they assured us there would be gluten free toast and sausages, what a complete waste of time we were told they had none so that was completely ridiculous and they didn't even offer anything in return. You'd have to eat a lot to get your money's worth.

LOCATION:
Excellent. Just a very short minibus ride to Terminal 1, not much further for 2 + 3. You could walk to terminal 1 but there's not many footpaths and it's just not worth it when you can wait for one of the complimentary minibuses. There is a busy-ish road by the hotel but don't worry about it because the windows keep out the noise fantastically. Hotel is easy to find, is closest to terminal 1.

EVENING FOOD:
During our stay at the night time we went to the bar and lounge area, this is a very nice place to chill out and relax. Very open with a nice range of seating areas from sofas with coffee tables and proper dining tables. You can order a range of food from the bar at suitable prices (not much different to any other places you go) and some are quite expensive but what do you expect when you're next to a hotel. If you would like to look at an example menu just visit the website. Prices of drinks are a little high. There's also the option to book a meal for The Brasserie which is a set menu and about £20 for 3 courses I think.

STAFF:
Nothing special. When we required a mini bus back and told them about our return to pick our car up they were very abrupt for no reason. They were alright on check-in. Bar staff and waiters however in the bar/lounge area were very nice and friendly! :)

COMPLIMENTARY MINIBUS:
Very good service, book what time you require at check in then call again from the airport on your return, very quick and efficient with good drivers. Better than paying for a taxi!

PARKING:
We wanted to put our overnight bags in the car before it got taken away and this was no problem so they took our car away and parked it on an external site somewhere, no problems with this whatsoever.

Overall, this was a very nice hotel in a good location, our rooms were brilliant, large and very good for the price we paid. I'd book well in advance as you get the best rates here (I know with some you get late deals) but we really did pay the best price. Also room warms up and cools down quickly with the heater you have in your room. Evening food good prices and atmosphere with friendly waiters and bar staff, highly recommended, as I stated breakfast is overpriced though I think.

It's a very nice hotel and I would stay here again!

Room Tip: Book in advance for a very good rate! Choose family room if not much extra as the extra space is s...

Stayed in March, night before an early flight. Arrived around 1pm, reception advised room ready but £20 fee to check in early (check in 2pm onwards) - really?? Not a good first impression when they tell you your room is actually ready!!

Bar food expensive but was of a good quality.

Room was basic but very clean. No noise from neighbouring rooms but corridor noise could be heard. Annoying that you need your key card left in slot by door to activate lights - also activates heating which meant room was cold on arrival and didn't keep warm unless you stayed in room. Tip - use your club card! Good selection of channels on TV in room.

Staff friendly and helpful. Baggage storage free and secure.

Would use again if I was flying from Manchester.

Booked this hotel as my wife and I were flying out of Manchester airport the following morning. To get to the airport you need to book the shuttle bus from the hotel reception. Room was of a good size and clean. We had a meal in the restaurant at night it was good. Stayed 1 night; would definately stay here again.
