“The best Curry House In Rusholme”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

The curry mile in Rusholme has changed over the last few years less restaurants( sadly the Sangam has lost its edge) more shisha bars so its made the competition even more fierce but her is still for me, only one consistently brilliant curry house, The Spicy Hut
Small and intimate the food is spot on portions just right and rather that blowing your tongue with fire there always a subtle blend of flavors and spices very delicate and memorable . The staff are great fun the service good and if you only have time to visit one curry house in Rusholme try the spicy hut you will not be disappointed

“excellent curry”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

After walking down the Curry Mile for a while in the rain, popped into this place as it looked good. For a Saturday night it wasnt too busy and the staff were really friendly. The menu had a great choice and all were reasonably priced. The food came pretty quickly and was really tasty, we opted not to have a desert as we were so stuffed! Definitely somewhere i would recommend and go back to

“Bland”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

I usually get a takeaway from here as it was quick and tasty.

Today we ordered our usual, a lamb bhuna and a chicken dansak, both very different traditional curries, although when it arrived the two sauces were identical, very bland and also small portions considering the price. It was ok but tasted more like a stew than a curry. Disappointing.

On the plus side it was delivered within 40 mins, driver was polite. Unfortunately I won't order again.

“Curry - standard. Service - better.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Six of us visited late Saturday evening. They found a table for us upstairs even though we hadn;t booked. The Wilmslow Road curry experience is not what it was. Twenty years ago half the fun was haggling with the guys outside trying to undercut the competition, now another place quoted us 90 minute wait for a table!
This place is standard. All the dishes you'd expect cooked well and reasonably priced. If you want a good curry with no surprises that wont break the bank then give this a go, but book first!
