The older lady front of house on friday afternoons should be relegated to the kitchen or retrained in customer service - or just retire. The young boy trying his best definitely had his work cut out for him - poor thing.
We received a cursory welcome and were then neglected.
Finally we went back to the bar to place an order (they were hardly busy).
Duck eggs very undercooked (inedible) and the bacon rashers were two slivers of Prosciutto 1 x 4 cm.
Drinks finally arrived half way through lunch and no one came back after that - the other lunch was eaten and the wine drank.
We had v happy memories of here but how things do change for the worse.
The water was nice.
