My husband and I took our 3 and 5 year old for a wonderful weekend to Hidcote Manor Farm and I would highly recommend this location to others. We were blessed with fantastic weather which helped - as did the stunning setting, great accommodation, warm welcome by the farmer John and a wonderful farm "experience" for us city dwellers.
The children loved playing in the woods, walking down to the chicken coop to collect fresh eggs for breakfast and playing in the tiny stream near the campsite. Getting to meet and see the animals (sheep, ducks, chickens and horses) was great for them and it was a fun to watch the sheepdogs working to round up the sheep as we sat out and ate breakfast.
Free access to the beautifully maintained National Trust Gardens at Hidecote Manor next door was a lovely bonus too.
