This pub is a must if you are in the area!! John Lutti and Jess are the perfect hosts. The food is first class and the service is great. Took some friends there last night (April 6th) and had the most wonderful evening. It's about attention to detail and the Bakers Arms provides this in spades, even down to the 'Lean On' cushions conveniently placed in the Gents toilets. Nice touch!!!

“Off the beaten track - a cosy, traditional pub with a very friendly welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

A beautiful, cosy pub with open fires and wooden beams on the ceiling. It's a traditional Cotswold pub that many locals and tourists alike frequent. Food is tasty, fresh and very reasonably priced. We've been here three nights on the trot and that's something we don't normally do. Great atmosphere!

“Proper Pub, lovely food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

This was always a nice "local" but Lutti and crew have now turned it into a good place to meet and eat. I've been to this pub on and off over MANY years and I'm now seeing people in there that have obviously made this their new watering hole. It's good to see that the standard Campden pubs etc now have a bit of competition! Long may it continue.

“Worth a visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

Visited twice on the Easter weekend whilst staying in a cottage nearby. A small but perfectly formed country pub with much character - exposed stone walls with real log fire and friendly staff. Made to feel welcome. Enjoyed a good meal there on the Friday night but worth phoning ahead to reserve a table as it can get busy. Would definitely go back again.
