“Overnight Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

Good Quality. Rooms clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable. We were visited family so the hotel was ideal for the motorway and getting to see our family. There is plenty of room to park and the receptionist - Amy was friendly and helpful. There is a Beefeater hotel attached and the food was cooked well. For the the full breakfast you can have as much as you want which is good value for money if you are the hungry type. There is no swimming pool or fitness centre attached to this lodge.

Overall it's fine. Good quality. Clean and tidy. Comfortable. A bit on the expensive side? You can get infinite egg, sausages etc at breakfast if you can stuff it in, so that's a bonus. I'll try that next time I don't have a funeral to attend.

We were originally going to stay in a travelodge, but after looking it up on tripadvisor it looked terrible. We got the chance to see it in the flesh as well when visiting friends staying there. The Premier Inn was much higher quality, though I don't know if it's £30 extra quality.

Found Premier Inn at the Lakeside Doncaster excellent. Plenty of parking, loads for kids to do. Very Central, not only for shopping but for the motorways. Room facilities fantastic, staff excellent, nothing was a problem no matter the time of day. Luxurious bed, excellent night sleep, the best for some time. Very quiet. Would recommend without any hesitation.......

Room Tip: All rooms seem suitable, but we had ground floor which was very quiet for the location.

Stayed one night for a family party.
Check in quick and efficient with two friendly helpful girls. Room quite large, basic but clean,30 minutes free WiFi. Ready for a make over but fundamentally nothing wrong. Great breakfast at Beafeater adjoining hotel, helped by super efficient friendly waitress.
Ideal for a one night stop over. Easy to find, despite local road works, just off M18.

I stopped over here on business in December 2012. Receptionist was fantastic, I have never been checked in so fast ever! Brilliant. The room was clean enough but cold and the bath/shower mixer was faulty. The window was broken and didn't close properly which resulted in a cold night. I ate in the adjoining pub for dinner which was acceptable if not expensive. Breakfast made up for the bad night though, excellent food and staff. Premier inn offer a good night guarantee however reception was unmanned at checkout time so I was unable to report my bad night. I am sure this was just a coincidence...

Stayed just before Xmas. The football match I was going to see was called off.I mentioned this to Maxine on the front desk and as I wasn,t likely to come again I asked her to give the ticket to someone she knew.Without me knowing she contacted the club arranged a refund and went to get it ,the next I knew she was at the door with the cash. She had walked to the ground and back.Wow! I don,t know if a 5 star hotel would have gone to those lengths..
As for the stay Premier Inns seem to have got everything right for a budget stay.Comfortable beds -decent size rooms and somewhere to eat close by-where the service was also top notch

We have been to this Premier Inn several times and always enjoy the Weekend there. The staff are helpful and very friendly. There is a shopping outlet right next door not too busy but a pleasant walk round. The frenchgate in the centre has plenty of shops to cater for all! We catch the bus just a few mins walk from the hotel and takes you about 20 mins. We have walked round the lake very pleasant in summer. On Sunday Morning we often visit the enormous car boot (all year round) and is walking distance from the hotel. A must for retail therapy!! The restaurant is next door and offers a good menu without being too expensive.

Room Tip: This Premier is a little dated but clean and has always seemed quiet, which we like!
