Called in on 2 Jan and would recommend this to any coffee lover. Run by the same people that have the Music Room in Lancaster and located in a lovely old building on China Street in Lancaster (just a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping streets). I had a superb Latte and, if memory serves, Pear and Caramel crumble slice (delicious). Wasn't the most generous sized coffee ever buy couldn't fault the quality.
As well as great food & drink the actual hall has been very nicely done out and is perfect place to while away an hour or two with good company, coffee and cake.
My only other gripe is that for quite a spacious building there was a lack of seating. Whilst you could squash too many seats in and be falling over each other this is a bit far the other way and it would benefit from a couple of extra tables.
Finally, my daughter thinks another point should be knocked off the score as they don't have Coke/Sprite etc however I would be inclined to add half a mark for this if I could! (they did have Orangina and several of the Fentimans soft drinks)
