“Best Indian in Leamingon!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Always delicious and love the informal, friendly atmosphere! The staff always seem really nice and the food is fresh and surprisingly cheap! Although very studenty, the restaurant has a nice, fun feel to it and its fab that you can take your own drinks. Absolutely love the fish tikka bhuna masala and the onion bhajis are the best ever. Definitely recommend King Baba!

“Easy Pakistani food in Leamington SPA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013 via mobile

Perfect if you want something easy, not too formal, with friendly staff, open till late, good food with a wide menu. Try the Saag Paneer and the Mango Lassi. Owner from Pakistan, he gives added value to the place.

“Excellence, Perfection & Just Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

i recently just tried this restaurant on the 2nd of January for the first time, since then i have been going back once every two weeks, the food is of a high class and completely fresh, the waiters are very nice and always willing to help, but the owner himself is amazing, giving us discounts and always being very modest to our compliments to his restaurant, nice fella. Will definately be there this weekend, recommended to anyone who wants an warm and hospitable welcome along with delicious food

“Everything bar the bill was cheap....”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

As King Baba is located close to the station was the only reason we went. It is in the more 'studenty' part of town and caters for that market.
Gaffer tape on seats, exceptionally poor toilets, surly staff, low rent ingredients and a generally basic feel to the place doesn't quite sum King Baba up.
£60 for three for one beer each, one main with rice and a poppadum each seemed expensive for the greasy swill which graced our plates.
One of the few times Trip Advisor has let me down :(

“Dirty floors and Waiters rushing you to leave”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013 via mobile

In a nutshell, the carpet was filthy with crumbs and food. No attempt to clean this, totally unnoticed by staff. Toilets were also ropey, with an aging block of used soap ( and a broken soap dispensir). A bloke in the corner in casual clothes (member of staff?), just lounging around rather scruffily and off putting. Although seemed to be a manager of some kind.

Food itself was not bad, the Naan and rice tasted fine. Chicken Baltis I suspect were heated in a microwave, as the temperature was off the Richter scale. Also arrived very quickly, which would imply microwave action.

Waiters started putting on jackets when finishing our meal, and pushing us to finish quickly. Not great.

Wouldn't return due to concerns over cleanliness, and the pushy waiters
