“Good location for town centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

Overall a good hotel well located but with small rooms. Breakfast is cooked to order which is good. Parking is available but the car park is small and tight, however you can park outside in the road which seems fairly safe but it is metered from 8am to 8pm. Check out was poor and very slow with a long queue.

Stayed here for one night to enable us to attend a rock concert in town.

Ok, parking might be tricky, especially when there's a wedding in, but, we did find a soace after a few minutes wait...

Very pleasant checking in at reception experience, and moved up to our ro00om on the second floor.

As noted by others, the room is on the main Parade road, and the single glazed windows barely cope with the street noise, but slightly more annoying was the constant sound od water skooshing in pipes, which, kept me awake once woken by the street sweepers in the early hours..

However, not withstanding all if that, the room was clean , big enough for our needs, comfortable and well kept.

The hotel cant control external factors, but i am sure would definitely benefit from some secondary glazing...

We did not eat in the hotel due to functions, but did have an night cap in the comfy lounge,

Breakfast, very relaxed and most enjoyable.

We'll return here in October for an other rock and roll weekend, with no worries about our accomodation...

Each year I organise an Easter break from Good Friday to Easter Monday and this year 38 of us stayed at this hotel. Cannot complain about anything, it was perfect and I think I am correct speaking on everyones behalf. The location is perfect, the food excellent and the bar area (which we all made good use of)! was ideal, very cosy and the most important thing was the price at the bar, actually cheaper than the pub next door which is very unusual in hotels. The staff were so friendly and helped out wherever they could. We did get a regular alarm call every morning in the means of a road sweeper.... but nothing to do with the hotel......
If you are planning a break in Leamington this is the place, bars and restauarants right on the door step. Some members of our party ate in the hotel restauarant(The Counting House) on all 3 nights because the food was so good and my mum said she had the nicest desserts she had ever tasted. Go for it, you wont regret it.

My wife and I have just stayed at the Angel Hotel for one nights b&b. The public rooms were very smart and atmospheric but the bedroom we were given was a tad on the small side and could have done with a bit of updating. The bathroom was, in particular, in need of a makeover. The room itself overlooked the inner courtyard so was nice and quiet.

The staff were all friendly and helpful and the place in general was pretty clean.

The Angel Hotel is ideally situated in central Leamington Spa so once you have parked up you can walk to the shops, Jephson Gardens etc

I stayed here with my friend (and her two year old son) for a weekend in February.

Fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk into the town. The room was lovely, lots of space, very modern and very comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and the good service continued into breakfast.

My friend and I rarely get a chance to together so when we do it's extra special, thank you to The Angel which exceeded our expectations. We will be back for the next reunion soon!

My girlfriend and I ate in the restaraunt here 'The Counting House' for Valentines, Now we love our good food and we eat all over the UK in top restaraunts, I was pleasantly suprised by the food here, the flavours, presentation, and the way it was cooked was as good as any place I have eaten in, I really was amazed, You've heard the saying "You get what you pay for" well here you get more than you pay for, truly amazing.

The staff were fantastic, very welcoming, we were served by a lovely lady called Angela who couldn't do enough for us, I highly recommend this place I really do, I for one will be eating here a lot more often that's for sure.

Very reasonably priced for the top quality you get.
