“Very laid back and good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Went here for lunch, very good value.

Staff were very nice and polite. Excellent service.

Toasted sandwich and salad, nice and very cheap.

The selection of teas is impressive and the tea I had was lovely. Thank you.

“lazy late afternoon lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

I visited the Mystery Tea Shop by recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. The décor is quirky and delightful. Fantastic choices of teas and unusual juices, I even took a bag of the Fantasia tea home. Enjoyed a late afternoon lunch, it was leisurely and relaxed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

“Bit of something different in Preston...at last!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

A truly delightful place for those wanting a change from the usual cafe offerings. A place to relax and take your time - as per the general ethos of the Tea House experience - whilst enjoying any one of the 100+ teas on offer. A pleasant array of tasty traditional dishes to enjoy, together with lighter bites, cakes and sweets. I visit every Friday during my lunch hour and have always been satisfied with everything. The Tea House sits on one of Preston's last few remaining pretty mediaeval streets and occupies a lovely old building. Sit down, relax and enjoy!

“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

I love the Myster Tea House. I often take visitors here and they are always pleasantly surprised. The range of teas is phenomenal, and their snack menu is small but perfectly formed. They even have gluten-free toasties, not something that is very common in other cafes.

I just wish it was, to some extent, even more hidden, as sometimes it is difficult to get a table. However, the sevice is impeccable and the staff will always try and help you out.

Definately a keeper, and one of Preston's gems!

“Fabulously Quirky”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is one of the things I love about Preston, the fact that a quirky tea shop on a side street run by two lovely Polish people and showing art exhibitions is so popular. You can't beat the relaxing ambience and friendly welcome.
