Stayed here a number of times and I have to say, in terms of value for money (£29 per room per night) I'm not sure I've stayed anywhere better. I've paid over £100 for much plusher hotels but I sometimes doubt if they are any better in terms of real value for money. The Ibis is ideally placed for us visiting our daughter (on the A6 just off the M6). It was clean and comfortable, even if the room was a bit spartan. Bathroom was fine, bed comfortable and no noise (remarkably, given its location). The staff were young and friendly, and there is a bar which is quite well stocked, if a bit pricey. We paid extra for breakfast, which was fine. Car park is spacious. There is a pub next door for more refined tastes. We are repeat visitors to the Ibis, which I guess says it all.
