Atmosphere was ok except for the heavy footed hectic manageress bounding around and you could even hear her raising her voice in the kitchen, the point in the evening we realised we had made a mistake.
Inedible tough overcooked roast beef. Hard and undercooked roast potatoes. Superdry chicken, and rump steak definitely not 'medium' cooked as requested. Kitchen could not offer an alternative roast and advised I ate from their regular, not Sunday Roast, menu (fair enough) so I opted for gammon steak which was ok except that it was served in what could only be described as a soup of fat. Whoever is in that kitchen does not care what is put on your plate.
To summarise.... Venue is great, food is dire and management is non-existent.
