“Spot On Apart from Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Stayed here for one night as required a stop-over in Preston. The room was excellent. Spacious, clean and well maintained. Hairdryer, ironing board etc all provided. Excellent shower and well located for the town centreat a brilliant price. Small niggles were the swipe taken of credit card at check in - no issue with that but they did not advise that this consisted of an £80 "holding fee" which remained pending on card for several days. Breakfast was not the best. Good selection but low quality produce which was edible but only just. Would stay again as the room was excellent and actually better than the 4* I stayed in the next night that was over twice the price!

Free parking and room safe, excellent, full English breakfast and very pleasant staff.
£36 Total for two b&b, with Late-rooms, beat that! power shower was just that and everything in the room was clean.

Will stay again if having a night out in Preston, only 10 mins walk to shops and bars.

Note: the Hotel is on a one way street, so check your route on Google St view, will save you a trip round town.

Booked an overnight stay here following a night out in the city centre to celebrate my partner's birthday. From the outside the building lacks character but the facilities more than met our needs for the night, let down by only a couple of minor maintenance issues and was good value for money in my opinion. The location is close enough to the centre to be able to walk but far enough away not be noisy. As it was a Saturday night we were woken a couple of times by the night time revellers arriving back but I guess that is more about insensitive guests as opposed to complaints about the hotel; and maybe could be expected given the location? Apart from that it was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, clean and warm and the bed was really comfy lending itself to a good night's sleep. The breakfast was self service and of good quality. I would be more than happy to stay there again.

This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Preston station. Rooms were of a good size and clean. Bed was comfortable and rooms warm. Shower was over the bath in my room which make make it difficult for some people to access. The Breakfast was really good with plenty chose from. Staff were happy to replenish anything that had run out. Would stay here again.

Needed to spend a night in Preston prior to meeting at University of Central Lancashire and the hotel was ideally located next to the campus.
Pleasant receptionist and comfortable, well equipped room.
Dinner was disappointing - lamb steak over-cooked to the brink of cremation with a mound of mushy mashed potato swimming in gravy.
Breakfast was OK and set me up nicely for the day.
