I've eaten at the Nottingham Arms a few times now when visiting Tewkesbury or going racing at Cheltenham and its somewhere that offers a really good range of beers with a quality dining room at the back.
Advice is to book; its never not been rammed when I've been. On entry the pub does look overcrowded but if you have booked a table in the restaurant there is lots of space.
Service can be a little haphazard as you get served by different waiters/ waitresses plus you choose from a board rather than a menu but it somehow all works.
There wasn't a children's menu as such but the kitchen offered to put together a variety of options for my son which was excellent and appreciated.
This is a place I'd very much recommend.
