“Fab weekend at the House celebrating a family birthday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2012

We had a party of 20 people and all were well catered for, its a fantastic venue ideal for family get together. We went on the coldest weekend of the year so far and Rob and Ruth ensured we were all confortable, would highly recommend to a large family group who want to spend some time together. Thanks Rob and Ruth

I recently organised a weekend away here for a group of 12 boys in November. Rob and Ruth could not have been more helpful in the run up to our stay, and were a pleasure to deal with once we arrived. The house is beautiful and absolutely huge. You could easily occupy yourself within the house for an entire weekend in the games room, living room and grounds. Alternatively its location makes it a perfect base for an active weekend- we hired an inflatable sumo ring, did some water sports, had a great pub lunch and even managed a night out in Cheltenham. This was all done knowing we had a lovely house to return to between activities!

A great weekend was had by all, and no-one within the party of 12 had any complaints. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend Hardwick House to anyone.

Absolutely fabulous! What a way to party....

Hardwick House is perfect for large groups wanting a home from home that can easily accommodate everyone without feeling you're living in each others pockets.

An excellent choice for a party weekend.

A superb party House! Has the lot for throwing a bash for all your friends & family. Swimming pool, snooker table, large grounds & great rooms. Brilliant communication from Rob to help get everything sorted for the weekend. Anyone looking to make the accommodation the least stressful thing to arrange for a big party should book here. Top stuff - Thanks Hardwick

First night of sleep was on a very hard bed... Who also puts an bright green fire exit light above a door opposite the bed.. To be covered over by my boyfriends boxer shorts so i could get a bit of sleep... No bed side table so light behind curtain on window ledge... £100.00 per night and no tea and coffee facilities in room.. Bonus underfloor heating in bathroom would have enjoyed tea in bed rather than keeping my feet warm. When turned bedroom and bathroom light on electric cut out...
Breakfast on was enjoyable set me up for the day. ...
Host's very money orinated as staying two nights but wanted paying on the first day, had our details so where not going to be out of pocket.
Grounds very nice and well kept.

Well where do i start the cost for the rooms is stupid as the room i was in had no mirror, no TV, fungi growing out of the side of the bath and riped curtains and it cost £169 for 1night. The couple that own the house weren't very welcoming it just seem all they wanted was your money. The main thing i think is terrible is that you can not go to this house if you are disabled as there is no access for you and no toilets for you to use.

Room Tip: Don't stay here go to the B & B next door as it's much nicer

What can I say....fabulous weekend! Great location, amazing house in lovely grounds with a heated pool and perfect hosts. Rob & Ruth made the whole weekend easy....house booked, breakfast served, local restaurants recommended, beautician organised and taxi ordered, so very helpful. Hen party of 17, everyone throughly enjoyed themselves and we will all be recomending to our family and friends

Room Tip: Book the main room with en suite....its by far the best
