My Husband and I booked My Great Grandfather's as a treat for my birthday as we were travelling up to Great Malvern from Devon we wanted to stop of on the way, I searched Trip Advisor and found this little gem, What a wonderful place, it's small and cosy with a warm feeling we were the only ones in as it was a Monday lunchtime but the atmosphere was so lovely we totally forgot we were on our own. The service was excellent attentive but not over bearing, the food was exceptional we were treated to an amuse bouche at the start of our meal plus homemade bread, absolutely delicious, I then had Figs with goats cheese and Hubby had scallops these we followed with Confit of Duck for me and Steak for the other half all of which were wonderful. We could not manage a sweet which was unfortunate as they to sounded lovely. I would highly recommend this place it's a little expensive but if you want something special then this is the place to go.
