This place is attached to the premier Inn so dinner times get a lot of hotel guests, but it never feels busy and there is always somewhere to sit. Weekdays they do buffet nights, which are really good value for big eaters. Food off the menu is standard Brewers Fayre stuff, burgers to steaks and quirky specials. Food is ordered at the bar. The bar service can be a bit slow as the bar serves the hotel as well as the restaurant. If youre drinking pespsi/7up you can ask for a refill deal, and there is a self serve machine which is handy. Same goes for coffee. Would I go back? Yes, I live nearby and its great for days we cant be bothered to cook.
