Description: We are a small friendly restaurant close to the centre of Watford. We serve authentic freshly made lebanese cuisine and have an all weather garden area where people can eat, relax, maybe smoke a shisha pipe and forget they are in the Britain for a little while. We are open 11am till midnight, seven days a week.We can cater to large and small parties so if you are planning an evening out give us a call or pop in and see us.Hopefully we will see you soon.

“"Great things come in small packages"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

With visiting our daughter and her partner in Watford we had to go and seek out this restaurant following the reviews on trip advisor. This place is on a small parade of shops and doesn't look anything special from the outside, but do not be put off as everything changes once inside. There is a great selection to choose from and the staff are superb. They can't do enough to help you choose and give you various options before ordering. The food is excellent quality with lots of flavour and spices. We had various starters, a couple of individual main courses and a mezze for two and everything was perfect. We went at lunchtime which was quiet but the owner was telling us how people the previous evening were waiting over an hour for a table and they were fully booked the following two evenings. If intending to go on an evening you would be advised to book. One other tip it is cash only!

“Great food with a great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 via mobile

We came here on the fact it's rated so highly on Trip Advisor, and rightly so. As it was out first time, we asked the waiter to bring us what he thought we would like. It's was all amazing!! The best houmous I've ever had! We sat in the front cafe, but didn't realise that the outside section was covered with heated lamps and music, we will try to sit there next time but apparently it gets busy at weekends. Will definitely visit again soon. You will leave there full and satisfied.

“Best independant restaurant in Watford”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Great atmosphere, delicious food, welcoming and friendly staff, fair price. Just a shame that it's now so popular you have to book in advance!

“Great place for a night out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

Went to Tarboush last night for a works night out. A great place if there's a crowd of you. There were over 40 of us and we were accommodated easily in the garden area. Food was plentiful, we had a set meal consisting of 3 courses. Vegetarian option for main meal was not wonderful but was edible. Meat platters were goo value though. Best thing is you take your own alcohol which makes for a cheap night out.
A return visit will be made very soon when we have a group night out. Not a place to go for couples as think you need a few people to enjoy at its best!

“Amazing food! Friendly staff! Great Atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

A taste of holiday ambience in Market Street, Watford! This cafe/Restaurant is a hidden gem...we (group of 6 adults) ate in the front part of the restaurant and the atmosphere was good, the staff are friendly, polite, and extremely attentive. There is so much choice of food off the menu, our waitress Christine ordered for us! The food was freshly cooked & everything tasted AMAZING! We moved into the back part of the restaurant after our meal.. The atmosphere was buzzing, it really feels like you are on holiday in Turkey/Egypt or Morocco! The Sheesh a pipes add the extra touch of chilling out & relaxing with your own supply of alcoholic drinks. We will be back with more friends soon!
