Stayed here just one night on a stopover before taking the Eurostar to Ebbsfleet. The hotel was very clean and the room nice and warm. Bathroom basic but clean. Asked hotel for hair dryer which they provided. Remember to take shampoo soap as only liquid soap in a dispenser is provided. Reception staff very friendly, they called me a taxi which arrived on time for the following morning at 5am. Only downside is the noise, but I am a light sleeper and it is right near the M25.

Stayed here for one night before travelling on to Ebbsfleet International Station. Hotel was in a quiet location next door to a Burger King and was just minutes from Ebbsfleet. The Receptionist was friendly and helpful at check-in/checkout. Our room was comfortable and very clean and equipped with all mod cons. We both had a good night's sleep here and would stay here again. Very good value for money if you book months in advance. Unlimited free Wi-fi would be good as you only get 30 minutes free currently.

We stayed for a night whilst going to and from London for a weekend.

When we arrived which was quite late in the evening/night we were greeted by a very helpful lady who gave us clear directions to our room. The room was spotless, a nice comfortable king size bed and two put up beds for the children. We had a very peaceful sleep. There was not enough towels for us but a quick trip to reception and it was quickly resolved.

There is a Burger King next door for a quick bite to eat.

We had a great stay and if in the area we would use this Travelodge again

Have stayed in the Travelodge, Dartford a few times in recent weeks and it was chosen purely for practical reasons. On one trip we were en-route to a very early flight from Gatwick and on the other two occasions I was heading for meetings in South London.

On two occasions the check-in was fast and efficient (Owen was very professional and friendly), however on the last occasion I was stood waiting for quite a long time and when the young woman arrived no apology for my long wait was even offered.

With Travelodge you know what get. Good sized basic room, clean duvet and linen, tea and coffee making facility and a clean bathroom. Dartford lived up to the brand. Oh, and they seem to throw in a few minutes free wifi nowadays - handy for picking up email.

The fact this Travelodge is right next to the Stone Crossing railway station is quite practical, and it seems the current timetable means that midweek the trains leave Stone Crossing at 13 and 43 minutes past the hour (do check online if you need to be 100% certain!). However, do be advised that these are relatively slow trains and it it will take you the best part of an hour to get to London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross.

Would I recommend this hotel to family and friends? Yes, if they were OK with a basic, no frills establishment.

Room Tip: Free wifi only seems to be for 30minutes, then moves to a paid option.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much as it was a cheap room for the night, but I have to be fair I was pleasantly surprised. Exceptionally clean, compared with other stays at other TL hotels, good sized family room, my little girl loved it as much as me. Very warm welcome too. I will definitely be using again as very convenient location to visit family.

The room was spacious and spotless, the bed was large and comfortable with plenty of pillows. I could hear a low hum of traffic in the background which did not disturb my sleep - there was no noise from within the hotel. A pre-paid stay is half the price of comparable hotels in the area and I shall choose to stay here in future in my frequent trips to this area.
