My OH suggested we visit Ganges Lounge as he'd heard good things about it. So we decided to go to the Wednesday banquet which was priced at £9.95 pp for starter, main, side and rice or naan. So glad we booked the table because it was packed! All tables were full. The food was lovely. We were given 2 menus, the first, a concise version of the second which went into detailed description of the dishes. The service was efficient and polite. The food served quickly and hot. The portions were more than sufficient, even for my OH who does enjoy a good plate full. And all for £9.95. Poppadoms & chutney were offered before we ordered and were charged seperately on the bill, as we're the drinks. We paid just under £36 for 2 huge meals, 4 pints and 4 poppadoms with chutneys, which I think is completely justified for the quality and service at Ganges Lounge.
