We stayed here for one night. We booked online a Superior king room for £65 per night. The pictures showed a massive bed with a small sofa in the room. When we arrived we were very disappointed as the room was small, with a desk and a single chair. The bathroom was very small, no bath just a shower. You couldn't swing a cat in it. We spoke to reception to check we was not given a standard room by mistake but apparently this was the superior king!! As the receptionist knew we were unhappy she immediately moved us to a suite (which is £85 a night) at no extra charge. We arrived in room 265, this room was slightly bigger, overlooking the golf course. A king side bed, desk and a 2 seater sofa. I would say this room is more of a superior room but definitely not a suite. The décor throughout the hotel is lovely, pastel colours. The furnishings are good quality.
We had dinner in the restaurant, 2 courses for £15.99. The prices are average for a hotel, not over expensive.
The staff were friendly and helpful, Jon the barman was very helpful and friendly. If you need to know the football results, ask him!!
It is a 5 minutes drive to the shopping mall.
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and a very restful sleep. The hotel had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.
