went to the Sun last night and was impressed with how the place has been 'done up'. The new winter menu had just been introduced, we like to see a small menu as it usually indicates that the dishes will be executed very well however it could really do with a couple more choices per course than the current 5(?), for instance my wife enjoys fish to start but there was only a shellfish dish available. The mains we had were a pork chop and braised lamb for me, both were excellent, we could not fault the cooking and the wine was very reasonably priced. Would we return?? Unfortunatley there was only one dish on each course that appealled to me so the problem with the seasonal menus is that we would not return until next season's is introduced.
