Noticed this attractive pub whilst driving through Turners Hill and popped in for lunch. Easy parking, although the pub was quietish at 12:30 on Saturday afternoon. Lovely atmosphere...large, welcoming settees by a smokey old fire. Choice of seating areas, by the fire, informal tables in the bar or a smart & stylish restaurant area. All seemed clean & comfortable.
Good choices on the menu ordered from friendly & helpful staff. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. (There was a slight hiccup with my eggs arriving separately from my egg & chips, but it wasn't a problem, and I really enjoyed my meal.) My wife enjoyed her fish cake, and we shared an excellent white chocolate & raspberry cheesecake.
We both enjoyed eating here and would certainly be happy to recommend The Crown to others.
