“Hotel of choice when flying from Gatwick”

Used many times for overnight stay at hotel with Maple Manor returning the car to Gatwick terminal on return. Works perfectly for us. Hotel rooms comfortable. I've always asked for extra quiet room as a light sleeper and have been accommodated each time. Staff are unfailingly polite. Always managed to find something to eat in hotel restaurant even though I'm gluten free.

Room Tip: All rooms same standard.

We stay at the Ramada for a night, the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean. The room service was right on time for our huge breakfast. Only the receptionist was not really helpful when we asked for the closest train station.

As you mentioned we have rebranded as Sandman Signature London Gatwick Hotel, under new ownership we are undergoing a complete refurbishment. Work has already commenced on the pool with bedrooms and public areas to follow.

I stayed overnight on Mon 6 Jan 14 as I was meeting a flight early the next morning. The place is easy to find - but has recently changed its name which is rather confusing to Sandeman or something like that. I a deal with Lasminute.com for about £60 which was pretty good - room only. Check in was easy as I was pre-paid. I had a large double room on the top 6th floor. I was large and clean with a good large bathroom. It was all clean and tidy. There was a well stocked tea / coffee tray. The hotel has free wifi and the bar stayed open to midnight which was useful. Having said this positive stuff the place was pretty bland and the bedrooms and public areas could do with a refurb.

Room Tip: Top floor - level 6 - is likely to be quieter as there is a tendency for air travellers to be coming...

Hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking.
The room was large and clean, we ate a meal in the bar, food was very good and about the price you expect for a hotel, drinks were expensive though.
On the down side bed mattress and pillows very soft, and despite turning the heating down room was very hot, poor nights sleep

Considering our stay was on 21 December, just before Christmas, the hotel did not seem particularly busy. Our room was spotless, parking was easy and finding the hotel could not have been easier.
The restaurant food was excellent, and reasonably priced for an airport hotel. It is a shame the waitress who took our order did not know how to smile, unlike all of her colleagues who were very pleasant indeed.
Would we return? almost certainly, but hope we do not come across the miserable waitress again.

Like most people we booked this hotel together with APH parking for a min break away in December. We normally stay at the Crowne Plaza but for some reason this was very expensive so decided to give this hotel a go. One downside is that it is not real withing walking distance to the main town center so unless you want to drive you are forced to have dinner in the hotel. The good news is that the food is both good and value for money (for a hotel). I had a fish special of the day which was sea bass and it was lovely. I have already booked in for our next pre-holiday stay and although not as nice/plush/near town as the Crowne Plaza while it is cheaper i will be staying without a worry. NB - Just got an email from APH indicating - "We have recently been advised by the hotel that as of 1st January 2014 the hotel will be re-branding to “Sandman Signature London Gatwick”. - not that this should effect things but will revue again under new name when i have been.

We stayed here for one night prior to flying to Las Vegas.

The hotel is easy to find from the motorway. Check in was quick and efficient.

Rooms are as expected for a Ramada Hotel - clean and well equipped.
